Solution - The client has various websites to cater to creating custom embroidery and artwork designs. We conducted a detail requirement study by meeting representative of all departments and are currently designing a single portal that will act as a single point of reference for everything from placing quote request, quotes to orders and workflow at the artist pools that fulfill the orders and deliver the finished designs to the end customers.
The client has a complicated network of vendors, websites, and service providers. Each business entity has a different rate agreement with the client that can change over time. Each business relation has a different set of parameters when it came to pricing the services. We have unified the pricing process using an innovative XML based pricing structure that did not complicate the database design. Since the business is spread on a number of websites, each website needed to have a different look based on the business partners' liking.
